Having a safe space to turn off the outside noise and focus on the things that matter in your life can be near impossible in today’s fast-paced world. We often come to sessions with overwhelming feelings and behaviors that keep us from feeling our best and making life a struggle. I know that change is hard. I am here to help, and it all starts with having the courage to make an appointment. It’s so important to give yourself a break and, at the same time, learn new skills that help you cope with your life. I collaborate with you to create a plan to help you reach your mental health goals. Having someone who can be there through some of the harshest times in your life can be part of the solution to getting back on track to the life you want to live.
I work with individuals who have concerns related to grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, self-esteem, sexuality (specifically LGBTQIA+ populations), identity, PTSD, and emotional burnout. Working together will offer insight into other areas of concern, such as attachment injuries and repair or relationship issues.
I use an eclectic approach, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help my clients. Getting from “I’m fine” to “I’m THRIVING” is a fantastic feeling that I hope we can work together to make you feel again soon.
