As a queer, person of color, I believe in creating a non-judgmental and culturally sensitive space to assist clients in creating a life that they love.
Due to the pandemic, many of us have had more time for reflection than we might have had in the past. Maybe this time of reflection has caused you to question your identity, gender or sexuality. Exploring and integrating your gender or sexually can feel overwhelming, especially in a world that can be hostile to LGBT/Queer people, but you do not have to do it alone. Seeking help takes courage. You are courageous.
I am passionate about working with gender expansive and LGBT/Queer adults. I have experience working with transgender and gender expansive individuals, as well as people across the sexuality spectrum. As your therapist, I want to help you navigate identity issues, relationships, gender, sexuality and mental health concerns such as trauma, depression and anxiety.
You deserve to feel connected to and proud of yourself. I use a trauma-informed, strength based, collaborative approach to learning more about your behaviors, thoughts, and feelings. You are unique, consequently, I tailor my treatment approaches to suit your unique needs and priorities, while using evidenced based treatments.
If you are looking for help and guidance to create a life that you love, I would love to work with you. Together, we can address underlying beliefs and obstacles that are keeping you from creating your ideal life.
